Restoring from older versions of vTigerCRM
This current version of the JumpBox for vTigerCRM has a special restore process when restoring from backups created by older versions of the JumpBox for vTigerCRM. Note that it is not possible to restore directly from versions of the JumpBox for vTigerCRM prior to 1.1.4. If you have such a JumpBox, you should upgrade to the JumpBox for vTigerCRM 1.1.4, then backup and restore from that version to the most recent version.
- Before you begin, log out of vTigerCRM if you are logged in.
- Restore the backup using this JumpBox administration portal.
- Go to the front page of vTigerCRM.
- You should be presented with a migration wizard. If you aren't, you probably forgot to log out earlier; do so now.
- You can simply follow the wizard, clicking "Next."
- When you get to the System Configuration page, you'll need the following information.
- Previous Installation Version is 5.0.4.
- Admin Password is the password you chose during the restore.
- Database Name for Migration is "vtigercrm502".
- On the Pre-Migration Tools page, just click Next.
