How do I add my AWS ID to my JumpBox Open Account?

In order to launch the JumpBox Cloud Pro AMIs in the jumpbox-amis/ and 270051122755/jumpbox-amis/ manifest paths you must add your AWS ID to your JumpBox Open account. To do so, you should:

  • Get your 12 digit AWS ID from Amazon. Your AWS ID is a 12 digit number (e.g. 1234-1234-1234) which is displayed in the top right hand side of your Amazon Web Services Account Activity page and is the Account Number.

  • Login to your JumpBox Open Account at: http://open.jumpbox.com/
  • Click on the "Settings" link next to your cloud subscription level.

  • Add your AWS ID in the Amazon Web Services ID box.

After a few minutes, you should get an email notifying you that you have been granted launch access to all of the JumpBox AMIs. You should now see AMIs with jumpbox-amis in your EC2 management application or be able to launch AMIs with the embedded JumpBox Launch Widget. Please be sure to understand what AMIs JumpBox offers and the prices associated with them.
